Day 01 - Arrival in Colombo / Airport pickup / Transfer to Negombo / Beach relaxation / Overnight in Negombo

Upon arrival, we whisk you away to the nearby coastal town of Negombo. After your flight, there is nothing better than the feel of the sand between your toes and a quiet evening by the sea. It’s the perfect, unhurried start to your fourteen-day island odyssey.

Day 02 - Breakfast at the hotel / Transfer to Wilpattu National Park / Afternoon jeep safari / Overnight in Wilpattu

We head north to Wilpattu, the island’s largest and most mysterious wilderness. The afternoon is spent on a safari through its unique lake-filled landscape, searching for the “prince of the jungle”—the leopard. Staying overnight near the park allows you to fully immerse yourself in the sounds of the wild.

Day 03 - Early morning safari at Wilpattu / Explore the wilderness / Transfer to Anuradhapura / Visit key ancient sites (Sri Maha Bodhi, Ruwanweliseya, Jetavanaramaya)/ Overnight in Anuradhapura

After one last sunrise drive in Wilpattu, we move into the Sacred City of Anuradhapura. Walking among these massive stupas and ancient ruins, you’ll feel the weight of history in a place that served as our capital for over a thousand years. It’s a spiritual journey through the very roots of the island.

Day 04 - Breakfast at the hotel / Transfer to Sigiriya / Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress / Evening visit to Dambulla Cave Temple / Overnight in Sigiriya

Today, we visit the “Lion Rock” of Sigiriya, climbing to the summit to see the ruins of King Kassapa’s sky palace. In the evening, we find peace in the Dambulla Cave Temples, where hundreds of Buddha statues and ancient murals are tucked into the cool rock. It is a day of incredible engineering and spiritual artistry.

Day 05 - Village tour in Sigiriya (bullock cart ride, canoe ride, traditional lunch) / Transfer to Kandy / Cultural dance show / Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic / Overnight in Kandy

We start with an authentic village immersion, experiencing the local way of life through a bullock cart ride and a traditional lunch. We then head into the mist-covered hills of Kandy. Your evening is a mix of high-energy traditional drumming and the quiet devotion found at the Temple of the Tooth.

Day 06 - Scenic drive to Nuwara Eliya / Visit a tea plantation & tea factory / Explore Gregory Lake and colonial landmarks / Overnight in Nuwara Eliya

The road climbs higher as we drive toward Nuwara Eliya, passing endless rows of emerald tea bushes. We stop at a factory to learn the art of tea making and explore the colonial “Little England” charm of the town. The crisp mountain air and rose gardens offer a refreshing change of pace.

Day 07 - Transfer to Ella via the famous train ride from Nanu Oya / Visit Nine Arch Bridge & Ravana Falls/ Engage in adventurous activities / Relax in Ella town / Overnight in Ella

Board the train for the iconic mountain crossing to Ella, a journey of tunnels and stunning valley views. Once in Ella, we visit the Nine Arch Bridge and the powerful Ravana Falls. Whether you choose to zipline through the trees or just relax in a town cafe, the atmosphere here is pure magic.

Day 08 - Morning hike to Little Adam’s Peak / Transfer to Arugam Bay (approx. 3.5-4 hrs.) / Enjoy the laid-back beach vibe / Overnight in Arugam Bay

We start the day with an easy hike to Little Adam’s Peak for a panoramic view of the Ella Gap. From the mountains, we drive toward the east coast to the surfing capital of Arugam Bay. The vibe changes instantly to a laid-back, “mellow” beach atmosphere that feels worlds away from the hustle.

Day 09 - Relax on the beach / Optional surfing lessons / Visit Elephant Rock for sunset / Overnight in Arugam Bay

Today is for the surf and the sun. You can take a lesson in the warm waves or simply relax in a beachfront hammock. In the evening, we head to Elephant Rock to watch the sun dip below the horizon, where the jungle meets the sea in a perfect, quiet moment.

Day 10 - Explore Kumana National Park with a jeep safari (Ideal for birdlife & wildlife) / Return to Arugam Bay / Overnight in Arugam Bay

We head into Kumana, a sanctuary famous for its incredible birdlife and untouched wilderness. It’s a quieter safari experience where you can see rare migrants and local wildlife in total peace. We return to Arugam Bay for one more night of starlit beach vibes.

Day 11 - Transfer to Yala/ Afternoon safari in Yala National Park (Ideal for leopards and elephants)/ Overnight in Yala or Tissamaharama

Leaving the east coast, we drive south to Yala for another chance to spot the island’s big cats and herds of elephants. Every safari is different, and the coastal scrub of Yala offers a dramatic backdrop for wildlife photography. Spend the night near the park, surrounded by nature.

Day 12 - Drive to Galle/ Explore Galle Fort, lighthouse & ramparts / Leisure time in Unawatuna or Jungle Beach/ Overnight in Galle

We drive along the southern coast to the historic Galle Fort. Spend your afternoon wandering the ramparts and exploring the colonial architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, you can take a dip at the secluded Jungle Beach or relax in the vibrant bay of Unawatuna.

Day 13 - Transfer to Colombo/ City tour covering Galle Face, Gangaramaya Temple, Red Mosque, Independence Square & shopping/ Overnight in Colombo

Our final destination is the bustling capital, Colombo. We’ll take you through the city’s best landmarks, from the striped walls of the Red Mosque to the peaceful Gangaramaya Temple. It’s a day to do some final shopping and see the modern side of island life before you depart.

Day 14 - Airport transfer/ Departure with unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka

After a final island breakfast, we provide a smooth transfer to the airport. You leave not just as a tourist, but as someone who has lived the “mystery and escape” of our island, carrying home a story that is uniquely yours.
